Join Our Team!

As you may have heard, we will be moving to the Plaza in just 6 short weeks! With our move we are expecting a busier store and therefore the need to hire a few more employees. We have an opening for 1 or 2 part time sales associates as well as a part time assistant manager position. Here are the details:

– You must possess an interest in and knowledge of whats going on in the world of design. That means you keep up to date on  sources such as design blogs, magazines, etc. Retail experience is strongly preferred, applicants with no sales experience will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

– If you have photoshop skills you will earn major brownie points. It is not required but would be very helpful, and if you don’t already know photoshop you will be asked to learn it. You will be asked to help with mood boards, and photo touching up, plus various graphics for the website, blog and clients.

– You must be friendly, honest, and accountable. And you must like dogs, Simone comes to work almost everyday. We are looking to hire someone who will blend right in with us. We like to keep it casual and fun while maintaining a professional atmosphere. 

– You will be asked to be involved with the social media side of things, as well as helping out with the blog. Knowledge of instagram, pinterest, facebook and wordpress is required. If you are not familiar with running these basic SM tools then you are not the right fit for this position. 

-You will be working on the sales floor with walk in customers and must have mad customer service skills, meaning going above and beyond for each customer. There is a lot of product knowledge and you will be expected to become very knowledgeable! We will also need your help maintaining the sales floor appearance, unpacking new inventory, helping with blog content, cleaning and taking out the trash and pretty much any other daily task that comes up.

-Our assistant manager should expect 20-30 hours/week and our sales associates should expect 10-20 hours/week. These are both hourly + commission positions. Weekend availability is a must.

-In your resume please Include anything that is relevant to YOUR design and style. If you have a blog, send a link. Same with instagram, twitter, Pinterest… all of this will help us get a feel for who you are.

-If you are currently still enrolled in school send some of your school projects or make a mood board showing a dream interior, or some favorite items collaged together..
